February 2022: Boutique fitness brand BXR are set to launch their latest site - BXR City - on 22/2/22 at 22 Bishopsgate, one of London's tallest building, dubbed Europe's first 'vertical village'.

Styled as Europe’s first ‘vertical village’, and set to be one of London’s tallest buildings, 22 Bishopsgates' 25th floor will be the home of BXR City, making it the highest gym in the capital.
This will be Crossover's second project in 22 Bishopsgate, having worked on the AV and audio systems for 'The Market' for RHC (Rhubarb Hospitality Collection), 'the foodie heart' of the development.
The Project - Audio and Lighting for Boutique Fitness
Featuring high-spec fitness classes (branded as pay-to-train concept 'Sweat by BXR') and a members-only gym, this will be the second BXR site in London to feature audio, AV and lighting systems designed, supplied and installed by Crossover, alongside our AV design and consultancy for BXR Doha, Qatar.
BXR City - key areas:
- Members only gym floor - audio system
- Versa climbing studio - audio system with instructor microphones, ipad-controlled LED array lighting system
- Strength and conditioning/ Boxing studio - audio system with instructor microphones
- Reception, changing rooms and auxiliary areas - background music
Luxury interior design
As with the BXR sites in Marylebone, Canary Wharf and Doha, Bergman Interiors are providing luxurious high-end specifications for the interior designs.
Founder of Bergman Interiors Marie Soliman said: “The main gym floor is designed with an unexpected, rough, elegant and industrial chic language using rough concrete panels and a rich blend of backlit dark-tinted mirrors. We were determined to refrain from using the usual materials found in most health clubs.’’
No doubt this will become another stunning BXR site, of the very highest standards!
