Centrica is an international energy and services company, with around 39,000 employees worldwide and well-known brands such as British Gas on its roster.
To design and install a multi-zone background audio and public announcement system that would be easy to use by the 400+ staff at this site and that would provide excellent coverage of all areas of the site. The system also should incorporate a wireless microphone system, and a 60" recessed plasma screen for videoconferencing and presentations.
Installation to be completed outside the normal business hours of operation, requiring close co-ordination with other on-site contractors.

Our engineers worked hard to find a series of clever workarounds to overcome a change in the brief that was made very close to the point of completion of the installation. This meant that the delivery of the audiovisual solutions was on time, in budget, and the client was extremely impressed.
Due to the client's particularly tight schedule, Crossover's installation team had completed all the system's cable runs (over 4 kilometres of cabling) within 7 days of receiving the brief. The remaining work was signed off by the client two days before estimated date of completion.
