April 2022: Crossover are delighted to have been selected to deliver the audiovisual systems for the Roundhouse's new creative studios, part of their purpose-built campus set to launch in late 2022.
Three multi-functional studios will be equipped for a range of activities, such as rehearsals, filming, circus activities, presentations, community groups and hybrid videoconferencing events.
Alongside the raft of ground-breaking activity already in place to support, encourage and develop young people, this new space will further increase access to opportunities for all – another step towards achieving a creative workforce that better reflects the full and glorious diversity of the UK today

Along with the studios, the purpose-built project will house a co-working space and podcast studio.
Crossover Systems Designer Rufus Chesney-Benson was perfectly placed to work on the design for this project, as a young music producer who is an active member of the Roundhouse Studios.
A key element of Crossover’s successful bid for the project is the bespoke app-like control system that will be delivered to allow Roundhouse staff to reconfigure the AV in the studios from a touch panel with intuitive activity-based button options.

‘We know this will be a home for the theatre-makers, music producers and creative entrepreneurs of the future’
