June 2022: Crossover is delighted to have been selected to deliver the audio and AV for art’otel Hoxton.
Set to open in early 2024, the site will be a flagship location for the art’otel brand, a contemporary collection of hotels in Europe which fuse architectural style with art-inspired interiors. There are currently art’hotel properties in cities such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Budapest and Cologne, with a further site to launch in London’s Battersea Power Station development in the coming years.
Art’otel Hoxton sits prominently on a busy corner of Shoreditch, throwing distance from Old Street roundabout and fittingly close to Hoxton Square, with its history of art galleries, artist residencies, clubs and culture. The site is also just across the road from Crossover’s former offices, and a few minutes’ walk from our current home.
Design inspiration for the impressive brand new 22-storey cylindrical building came from a fractured cogwheel plan with twisted concrete fins.
The AV-heavy and high-spec development will include a 346-room boutique hotel, gym and spa, art gallery, art cinema, creative commercial space, retail space, a private members club and publicly accessible restaurant with a bar.
Crossover is a natural fit for the demands of such a multi-use development, given our breadth of experience designing, supplying and installing AV and VC systems across a wide range of commercial sectors, including hotels, restaurants, bars, health and fitness facilities and many other leisure and hospitality venues.
