On the afternoon of the England vs Belgium match in the World Cup 2018 the London office of Grey gathered for a company meeting held in their large open plan bar and reception area.
As one of the leading advertising and marketing companies in the world, Grey know how to create captivating and compelling sales pitches. However, with the World Cup a different kind of pitch was to be on show throughout the duration of the tournament, with all the matches screened live on the 4K 3x3 videowall installed by Crossover.
It is essential for their business that Grey can deliver impactful large-scale presentations loud and clear, and be able to configure the room for a range of events and the touch of a single button on the control interface. It's handy for the football enthusiasts that this high-calibre AV system is hooked up to a Full HD Sky box, perfect for watching the games!
The bar / reception event space at Grey London can hold up to 300 people and prior to Crossover overhauling the AV systems their company meetings suffered from microphone feedback and poor quality audio. The audio system is now crystal clear, with time-aligned loudspeakers and a completely feedback-free wireless microphone experience for the presenters.
Another historical problem was poor visibility of the presentations when stood in the rear of the space. Supplementing the videowall are now Full HD reinforcement screens mounted further down the space which can be angled outwards to give great visibility for the people at the back.
Embedsignage software is being put to fantastic use by Grey’s creative design team to create amazing visual presentations that fully exploit the 3x3 4K videowall layout. It’s great to see the technology delivered by Crossover used so effectively.
Once the company meeting was done Grey kick back with one of their bar night social events, watching the football in glorious Full HD on the videowall and hearing the full drama of the commentary over the audio system.
