We are thrilled to announce that Crossover has been shortlisted for the prestigious Mondo DR Awards 2023 in the Museum category for our central role in the Twist Museum London project – evidently, the list of those who think it’s an outstanding space is growing fast!
Last month the MONDO-DR awards were held in Orlando Florida. We were delighted to have one of our installations not only entered into the running for a prestigious award in the Museum category, but shortlisted as a finalist.
The MONDO-DR magazine, focuses its reporting on international technology in the entertainment sector, bringing the cutting edge of news from around the world to its consumers. They launched the MONDO-DR awards in 2017 and it is the only awards ceremony in the industry to focus to solely on fixed installations within the entertainment world.
With a plethora of categories to enter -- from massive arenas to houses of worship – the AV awards represents the best fixed installations delivered around the world in the last year.
The Twist Museum in London, a complex and innovative installation designed by our senior systems designer Juan Garcia and delivered by our lead project manager Ben Manning made it all the way to the final furlong of the competition.
The MONDO-DR judges said that the design “has found a way to use technology to make a unique and innovative visitor attraction that is accessible on all levels; its use of colour and technology has made it appeal to the TikTok and Instagram generation.”
The site in London’s Oxford Street has been an immense success commercially, with regularly over 1,000 paying visitors daily, and it’s often sold out for weeks in advance.
