The Digital Britain Final Report |

The Digital Britain Final Report, published in June 2009, is one of the central policy commitments in the Government's Building Britain's Future plan and draft legislative programme.
Some might argue that this is a poorly conceived document that fails at any point to mention superior or improved sound or image quality of any type at any point in the document. Some may consider the digital radio section is a disaster of perception. Some might observe that whilst the report goes some way to reinforce the idea that there should be internet access to a minimum standard as a universal service, the aim of 2MB/s as against many other countries who set their target nearer 10 or even 50MB/s is hardly 'world-leading'. We merely present it here for you to form your own opinions! |
